BioNick McClintock was born in Albany, New York in April of 1987. He graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush, NY in 2005 and just recently graduated Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Electronic Media Arts and Communication, with a focus in video production. Since he was 12 years old, Nick has been bouncing on pogo sticks as often as he gets the chance. It started simply enough when Nick and his cousin found an old pogo stick collecting dust in his basement. As the two discovered the tricks and stunts possible to do with a pogo stick, it soon developed into a passion for Nick to invite more tricks on the stick. Since then he has been a key member of the sport, contributing greatly to both the progression of tricks, and the development of the community that is xpogo.com The combination of his studies in college and years of experience on a pogo stick, allow Nick to approach both fields with the degree of creativity required to push the limits to a new level. Nick plans on continuing his involvement with the sport in every way possible, using his range of skills both on and off the pogo stick. At the moment he is working on several projects, including a full length pogo movie featuring the worlds best pogo talent (currently in pre-production.) Additionally he continues to pogo as often as possible to perfect some of the most difficult moves and create new tricks to push the sport even further. |
